Perrotin has galleries in Paris, Hong Kong, New York, Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai, Los Angeles. Emmanuel Perrotin founded his first gallery in 1990 at the age of twenty-one. Since then, he has worked closely with his roster of artists, some for more than twenty-five years, to realize their ambitious projects along with his team. 
The multiple venues of the gallery offer great flexibility, enabling Perrotin to continue staging ambitious projects and large-scale exhibitions. It represents and exhibit about 100 artists, including emerging as well as established mid-career artists and estates, hailing from 27 different nationalities. 
The gallery has expanded its mission in recent years, most notably through the production of thoughtful editorial content, such as podcast and video, as well as developing a programmatic calendar, which includes panel discussions, education workshops for children, and concerts.
The gallery also publishes catalogues, prints, and objects, available in its bookstores.
